If you know me you know I’m smarter than the average bear. If you’re reading this you’ve probably picked up on that. So it may be confusing to you why I’m only working in retail. Heck, sometimes it’s confusing to me, too. But I love retail. There’s always something to do. It’s never boring (unless you’re on a register). You meet some very interesting people.
For the best it keeps me engaged. If I’m not engaged then I’m thinking and if I’m thinking then I’m spiraling. I don’t miss those days. It was when I was in a call center I spent the most time in a hospital. I had too much time for thinking and I ended up inpatient. I don’t ever want to do that again.
